What You Carry Within
The person who insults you has forgotten their own greatness.
The person who slanders you is disconnected from their truth.
The person who steals from you believes in lack.
The person who envies you has not seen their own beauty.
The person who judges you is at war within themselves.
No one can offer what they have not discovered within.
We move through life believing that what others give us is about us. Their words, their actions, their reactions. But in truth, every gesture reflects an inner state. Pain expresses pain. Fear projects fear. Love reveals love.
When you are rooted in joy, you offer joy.
When you live in abundance, you multiply abundance.
When you truly love yourself, you celebrate the beauty in others.
The world is not just a place we move through. It is a mirror in which we meet ourselves again and again.
This is why comparison dissolves in awareness. The rose does not feel threatened when daisies bloom, nor do daisies mourn the presence of carnations. Each exists fully, without needing to diminish another.
To see this is to soften or stop judgment. How can you condemn someone who acts from inner poverty? How can you resent someone who has not yet seen their own richness?
Behind every harsh word is a wound.
Behind every act of greed is a fear of not having enough.
Behind every judgment is a struggle for self-acceptance.
This does not mean you accept harm. It means you see clearly, without taking it personally, without becoming what you receive, and without carrying what was never yours to hold.
Because what you offer the world is never separate from what you believe yourself to be, what you are. If you knew the treasure within you, you would not offer offense or withhold kindness. You would see others not as threats, but as reflections of the same life, unfolding at different stages of remembering.
So, offer what is true.
Offer what is whole.
Offer what you are.
And perhaps then you will see…nothing that was ever given to you was personal, only a reflection of where another is within themselves.
And in that understanding, you are no longer shaped by what you receive… but by what you choose to give. And what you give is the world you create. So, give light. Even the faintest light can brighten someone’s path and soften the darkness around them.
