Living Windows
We Are Living Windows
We are not solid, fixed identities, we are living windows.
How we look, speak, move, and behave reflects the hidden world within us. The way we dress, the way we stand, the tone of our voice, even the expressions on our face, these are all mirrors of our deepest thoughts, feelings, beliefs, traumas, and longings. Whether we realize it or not, we are always revealing ourselves.
But in today’s world, we’ve grown blind to this truth. We move through life hurried, distracted, over-stimulated, and often disconnected from ourselves, others, and our essence. We’ve built walls of judgment, labels, conclusions, and assumptions to shield us from the overwhelming noise. In doing so, we’ve become more superficial, seeing less, feeling less, understanding less. We have become blind to reality and perceptive to superficiality.
When we encounter someone, we usually see only our filtered version of them. We reduce people to categories: attractive or not, intelligent or not, loud or quiet, valuable or not, liked or not liked. But behind those labels is always a soul, a person carrying unspoken pain, hidden beauty, private fears, and sacred light. We forget that each human being is a universe of experience, carrying stories we may never hear, experience or understand.
So, open your eyes and truly see.
Look through the window standing before you. Notice the light, or the ache, shining through. Don’t rush to judge. Pause. Witness. Bring compassion, not comparison, no judgement. Every soul is walking a path shaped by lessons you may never understand. Shoes you will never wear.
And as you learn to truly see others, something beautiful happens: your own window clears. Your light strengthens. Your presence deepens.
So, clean the house spotlessly and polish the glass of your being—with stillness, with kindness, with truth, with pure love. Let love be the light that shines through you. And remember: the clearer your window, the more beauty you will reflect to the world, and from the world back to you. Be the window through which the world remembers its light. The more you see, the more you awaken. The more you awaken, the more the world awaken. Be the light that helps others find their own.
