Heart progression
Every broken heart leaves a scar, but scars are not meant to close us, they are reminders to stay open. “Don’t close your heart, no matter how many times it has been broken. When you do, you rob yourself of the ability to experience love and life to the fullest.”
As children, love spilled out of us like sunlight. We lived in awe, smiling for no reason, laughing with ease. But as we grew, the weight of judgment, fear, guilt, and responsibility bent us low. Smiles became rarer. Love became conditional, dependent on someone or something outside of us. Many begin to feel that life is not a gift but a punishment.
Yet this is illusion. We are not fixed beings, we are a process, an unfolding. We are not finished; we are endless possibility. Life is not asking us to shrink into survival; it is calling us to expand into love.
The heart was not made to be closed. It was made to break, to open wider, to love again. Each crack is not weakness but invitation. As Japanese proverb says, “The cracks are where the story lives. Without them, there is no beauty, no light.”
Open your heart, again and again. Let love pour from it like a fountain without end. Let it bleed kindness, compassion, and joy until everything it touches glows with light. Let its colors eclipse fear. Let your presence dazzle like the sun.
Do not hide your love, let it sing. Do not dim your light, let it blind the darkness.
Life’s magnificence is revealed only to the open heart. Broken or whole, scarred or shining, when your heart remains open, you are free to love, free to live, free to experience the miracle of being.
