WHAT LIFE IS ABOUT… (PART 3)

Life is about:

  • building relationships based on love and freedom, as opposed to building them based on fear or personal goals/interests.
  • understanding that growth is an evolutionary process, as opposed to deep rooted traditions, rituals, creeds, and doctrines.
  • living consciously every single moment (here and now), as opposed to living unconsciously and automatically in the past or the future.
  • experiencing everything to the fullest, as opposed to having faith in something you do not know or have not experienced.
  • pursuing our full potential as human beings, as opposed to just living a meaningless biological, material life.
  • taking responsibility for who we are, as opposed to victimizing ourselves and blaming everyone else for what has happened to us.
  • being grateful for absolutely everything, as opposed to taking anything for granted, feeling entitled and/or always wanting.
  • taking an inner pathless path, without destination, milestones, or even sign posts of self-discovery and development, as opposed to a well-defined external path based on rules, laws, and doctrines.
  • understanding that happiness, peace and joy are simple decisions, as opposed to goals or destinations.
  • living such an exuberant life that you feel high at all the time, as opposed to using drugs, alcohol, and other substances to be able to experience other sensations different than the perceived mundanity of life.
  • accepting every single instant as is, as opposed to how we want it to be.
  • understanding that everyone is right in their own right and perspective, as opposed to trying to impose our own right or perspective.
  • letting everything go, as opposed to being attached to everything.
  • realizing how insignificant we are as a species and how significant we can be as individuals, as opposed to thinking we, as individuals, are so great, wonderful or special.
  • choosing and walking our own selected path and be who we really want to be, as opposed to allowing society and opinions to decide what our paths are and who we are.
